Bitcoin Pizza Day

On May 22 we celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day, the day we now know to be the first real world Bitcoin transaction and of course in a true tech fashion it was for pizza.

Back in 2010 Mr Laszlo Hanyecz spend 41 US Dollars to pay for 2 pizzas, but 41 US Dollars was equivalent to 10000 Bitcoin. So mr Laszlo paid ten thousand Bitcoins for two large pizzas.

To commemorate the transaction, May 22 is dubbed Bitcoin Pizza Day. Pizza providers worldwide offer discounts to bitcoin users to commemorate laszlo’s purchase. And we at Bitcoin Aruba will offer a FREE pizza every year follow our facebook page to learn more.
